Brent J . Weber President & Chief Executive Officer Brent J . Weber , President and Chief Executive Officer ( CEO ), joined ITC in 2016 as Senior Vice President of Operations . Brent was responsible for operations at ITC Deer Park , ITC Pasadena , and ITC ’ s Anchorage Terminal ( ACT ) operations . He was responsible for safety performance , environmental compliance , operational excellence , customer service , logistics , and overall efficient terminal operations .
In 2018 , he transitioned to the role of Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing . Brent and his team focused on commercial growth and expansion of the Deer Park and Pasadena terminals as well as supporting the growth and development of ITC-Rubis in Antwerp , Belgium .
On April 1 , 2021 , Brent became President and CEO of ITC . Brent serves as the Chairman of the Board of ITC-Rubis and is also a Board Member of International Liquid Terminals Association ( ILTA ).
Brent began his career with Nalco Chemical Company in 1999 as a District Representative . In 2001 , he moved to OxyChem in Geismar , Louisiana as a Process Engineer . He advanced through multiple roles at the Geismar site in both chlor-alkali and chlorinated organics technologies and became Operations Manager . Brent was promoted and moved to Houston , Texas in 2012 to become the Plant Manager of OxyChem ’ s Battleground Chlor-Alkali site . In 2014 , Brent was promoted to become the Plant Manager of OxyChem ’ s La Porte VCM site and continued in that role until 2016 .
Brent is a graduate of Louisiana State University , where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering in 1998 . new additional tanks at Deer Park ,” he says . “ However , we constantly prioritize safety , and we ’ re currently pursuing VPP OSHA Star recognition via the OSHA Challenge Program . Under this program , the entire team is working to continuously improve our safety credentials ahead of OSHA ’ s comprehensive audit .
“ Further afield , our goal is to have both the Pasadena and Deer Park terminals built to full capacity with 22 million barrels within the next five years , and we also hope to be a VPP OSHA Star site in the same timeframe ,” Brent concludes . “ We ’ ll keep expanding and hopefully have more projects underway , but we ’ re aiming to be recognized as leaders in our industry for technology , automation , and digitization .” ■
