When Ted made the decision to step down as President , he entrusted Eric to lead Aqueos with his passion and expertize . Inspired by Ted ’ s leadership , Eric was keen to follow in his footsteps .

“ When I was in high school , I was a backup quarterback to a guy named Jake Delhomme , who later led the Carolina Panthers to a Super Bowl . After he left , I had big shoes to fill . I think that experience at a young age really prepared me for this role because I have to fill some really big shoes now . Ted is a pioneer in our industry . He is an advocate for divers ’ safety and he has built a fantastic company .”

Like Ted , Eric prioritizes the safety and care of his people , as well as that of the equipment and environment . Aqueos is proud to boast a zero percent recordable incident rate , demonstrating its dedication to the protection of its workforce .

“ Our core values are excellence , professionalism and safety ,” Eric explains . “ With every project that we accept , we accept it under the mantra that it ’ s going to be done without harm to our people , equipment or the environment .

“ We have a diving safety management system that was put together based on various regulations , recommendations and industry-safe practises . That really boils down to keeping the person at the end of the hose safe in everything that he or she does .”

Strategic projects

Presently , Aqueos is working on some exciting projects in the West Coast , Mexico and Gulf of Mexico .

“ The project that we ’ re executing in Mexico is surrounds a large gas pipeline , and we are assisting with various construction activities ,” Eric details . “ We started off using
